The Greene County Historic Register

The Greene County Historical Society established the Historical Register on May 30, 1990 for the purpose of documenting structures and sites of historic and architectural significance in Greene County. The Historic Register also serves to advance public awareness, appreciation, and encourage preservation of the County's historic resources. Since that time, over 200 historic homes or sites have been listed on the Register.

The Historical Register Committee representing the fourteen towns in Greene County meets monthly at the Vedder Research Library on the Bronck Museum Grounds to evaluate applications. The committee encourages property owners to submit applications for entry on the Register. Applications can be obtained at the Vedder Research Library, from a committee member, or you may download a PDF version of the application below.
