36th Annual Tour of Homes to be Held June 2

The Greene County Historical Society will hold its 36th annual Tour of Homes in the Town of Durham on Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Each year this popular tour highlights the architectural and historical assets of a different town or area in Greene County. Last year’s tour focused on the Town of New Baltimore. This year, with the help of the Oak Hill Preservation Society, we move to the Town of Durham.

Tour sites will be located in the historic hamlets of Oak Hill, Durham and Cornwallville and extend into the beautiful countryside of the Durham Valley. More information about specific sites will be available as the tour date approaches.

The tour will be held rain or shine. Tickets are $25 the day of the tour; $20 in advance.

To reserve advance sale tickets, send a check payable to GCHS to: Greene County Historical Society, P.O. Box 44, Coxsackie, NY 12051. Advance sale tickets will be held at headquarters the day of the tour. Reservations must be received by May 30.

Proceeds from the sale of tour tickets support the Greene County Historical Society, the Bronck House Museum and the Vedder Research Library.

For more information, call David Dorpfeld at 817-8771; Terez Limer at 966-8131 or visit www.gchistory.org.
